You know that nudge?
The one that whispers: Some friendships have grown with me, while others feel… out of place.
You’re not imagining it. Midlife often brings this gentle recalibration. The friendships that once felt effortless may now feel heavy or out of sync. And after years of busyness, many of us find our social world has become smaller than we expected.
If you’ve felt this, you’re not alone.
This session is for anyone who wants their relationships to feel more aligned, supportive, energising, and emotionally safe as we step into a new year.
What We’ll Explore Together
In this interactive session, we’ll dive into:
- How identity shifts in midlife reshape what we look for in friendship – and why that’s completely normal
- Simple ways to recognise which relationships energise us, and which drain us – without guilt
- How to reconnect with intention, rebuild trust, or let go with grace – practical approaches for real situations
- A hands-on Friendship Audit to help you see where to focus your limited social energy
This isn’t theory. It’s reflection, conversation, and practical steps you can use right away.
What You’ll Walk Away With
- Greater clarity on who feels right for your next chapter
- A framework to audit your current relationships
- Permission to honour who you’ve become
- Practical tools to navigate friendship transitions with grace
Who This Is For
- Anyone feeling their friendships need recalibration
- Midlifers navigating shifting social circles
- Those wanting to be more intentional about where they invest their energy
- Anyone ready to honour who they’ve become and choose the right companions for the road ahead

A Personal Note from Desieree
“This topic sits close to home for me. Three of my close friends will relocate soon, and while I know change brings both loss and new possibilities, it’s still hard to face.
I also met many new people this past year through attended events, exchanged contacts and yet something still felt missing. Authentic connection is harder to build at this stage of life, and that realisation is what inspired this session.
My hope is that this space can be a safe place for us to pause and look at what connection means now, and how we can enter the year feeling aligned, supported, and surrounded by the people who truly matter.”
